Happy New Year, Mason Nation! Going to miss being at EBA this season but I’m still with @A10Talk and I’m still for some reason investing myself in this unrecognizable mess of a sport. And that reason is NOVA’s Team. Here’s our preview: a10talk.com/2026/10/meet-tea…

Meet Team 61: George Mason Men Have High Hopes Despite Familiar Refrain

Josh Schertz on Robbie Avila on TMA today: -Hewill not play against Lehigh -Won’t play until the case on the 4th is resolved, he’s in game shape, and no potential issues from the conference -Don’t want issues where he is flipping between eligible and ineligible

My season preview of @FordhamMBB for @A10Talk is here! With the bulk of last year’s front court returning to Rose Hill, how can Fordham make a big jump in this year’s Atlantic 10? a10talk.com/2026/10/continui…

Continuity the Key for Fordham in 2026-27 Campaign

Adaptability was the name of the game for the 2025-26 Fordham Rams and head coach Mike Magpayo. After taking over the program in early April 2025, coach Magpayo assembled a roster that finished 17-14...

No @A10MBB coaches in the leaders in win probability added from challenges last season, so I pulled them all out from last season here. I was hesitant to read much into coaches with -WPA as it’s a small sample so one challenge going against you could sink your total.

Spent some time this offseason looking at every coach’s challenge from last season, all 1,904 of them. Some coaches are winning this hidden battle. Some are not. New piece at @basket_review 🔗 basketunderreview.com/know-w…

Know When to Hold It: The Data Behind the Coach’s Challenge

All summer long, Mike Magpayo reminded his frontcourt of two numbers. “Everybody’s giving you all this praise. You were the frontcourt for an 8-10 team.” Check out the full article and interview from @Sam_Federman here: basketunderreview.com/we-wan…

Robbie Avila update from Josh Schertz: “Robbie has been and remains enrolled at SLU and will continue to be around the team as an alum until he makes a final determination on next steps. He’s eligible to compete and to practice, we have no timetable when he will know next steps.”
