I could make a case for Jeyvan Williams deserving to be the defensive player of the game. Recognizing that Carr fumble and jumping on it was huge! Likely ND was going to punch it in for 7 and go into the half with that momentum down only 21-17. @BYUfootball @williams_jayven

@elonmusk and @SpaceX as a completely unqualified person, I have a genuine question: Could you build a really long ramp that slowly curves upward, say using a mountain, and use electric propulsion to get the rocket to say 500 mph before it needs to use its own fuel.

If by some miracle @elonmusk and/or the team at @SpaceX see this, I would seriously love a couple thoughts on it!
20
I’m sure there are a million reasons this makes zero sense and wouldn’t work, but has been kind of fun to think about in my dumb brain!
11
Let’s say you could save half of that by using this method. So maybe 125,000 lbs or 62 tons!
7
I read that the Falcon 9 burns on average 5500 lbs of fuel per second during launch. And I “think” it said it takes it about 1 minute to hit about 500 mph. So at that rate, it’s burned 330,000 lbs of fuel.

Okay, these are the kinds of things that keep me up at night. Needed to get it out there so I can move on with my day!
9
So the rocket would start laying on its side, and by the time it reached the end of the ramp would be facing at the correct angle
5
I understand that’s very slow by rocket standards, but if my very loosely based research is even close to correct, it would save thousands of pounds of fuel that could be used for more cargo?

What has Notre Dame done that BYU hasn’t? This is one of the worst cases of Brand Bias I have EVER seen. Still waiting to hear answers.

Provo Dave speaks the truth.
Do not piss on #ProvoDave head and tell me it’s raining. Nuts and bolts BYU got screwed.

Remove the logos and names. Makes it really easy right @espn, @CFBPlayoff, @KirkHerbstreit, @ESPNCFB?

After a Utah holding penalty erased a would-be game-ending sack and allowed BYU to continue its final offensive possession, BYU faced the following situation: Trailing 21-19 No timeouts Ball at the BYU 19-yard line 1:29 on the clock Starting right tackle out of the game Over the next 29 seconds, BYU gained 56 yards on three plays to put the team in field goal range, then snapped three rushing plays to position for the game-winning kick. The game was not won or lost on the penalty. There was a lot of work left to do, and BYU did the work to earn the win.

Despite @SMUFB winning their conf last year, ending the yr ranked in top 25, and joining the ACC, the fan excitement/attendance was shockingly low. @BYUfootball fans were probably 40% of the crowd. They have their work cut out for them.

I will actively and aggressively contribute funds against @mattgaetz and the others he’s collaborating with in congress. This is incredibly embarrassing…

Haha! I just talked to a super nice Arkansas fan in line here at LES. He was baffled at BYU’s defense. “Our offense is not this good man.” 😬
