The only reason it would make sense to trade Detmers or Neto is for 2 reasons 1- Detmers - you plan on signing a few guys in FA and would rather continue to deepen the farm and are okay with losing another 100+ games 2- Neto- you are utterly blown away by an offer and there’s a potential log jam at SS Outside of these two reason I’d find it extremely hard to find any reason as to why we would need to trade them

I’ve said it before, but the path the Angels take with Detmers & Neto is going to be instructive of how the new ownership + front office view this team. If they think the current talent base in the org is good enough, you extend and build around them. If not, you sell high.
