Green charts are a good time to grab great green grails from @jackbutcher! @opepenedition
Happy to have played a small part. Very cool example of coordination opportunities. You practice first...
1/ On Squiggle #6529
I would like to explain why we are excited about “buying a Squiggle”
While Squiggles are, in fact, sweet, the exciting part is that every part of this process happened in a decentralized manner.
2/ @aRegularDad proposed a Meme Card to fund a Squiggle acquisition.
81 profiles participated in the Main Stage vote and voted with TDH to mint this as a Meme Card
The card won. 77 paid editions were minted, providing 2.51 ETH for the acquisition.
3/ @cheesebiz and @bankons helped scout and connected @squiggleDAO . SquiggleDAO suggested trying to acquire Squiggle 6529
The price was 3.01 ETH, so @MadaCollects who had been following the discussion, chipped in another 0.5 ETH to the pool (respect!)
4/ The seller wanted to stay anonymous, preserve the provenance (no intermediary transfers) and keep their vault secure.
Ultimately, the seller trusted SquiggleDAO and 6529 network and sent the Squiggle directly to the 6529 Network Museum before receiving payment.
5/ Reminder: What is the 6529 network museum? It is a SAFE vault organized by TDH, owned by the network, a cultural asset, NFTs go in, but ~they do not go out.
It is the network-native concept of a national public museum
6/ Finally, one more step to replace the temporary art on the card with something appropriate for the long-term. Well, another TDH vote of course.
@ricardotakamura won with THE VAULT, a long-exposure light painting made at Casa NUA in Brazil.
7/ So to recap:
- Decentralized network mints a meme card to buy a squiggle
- Decentralized network picks which squiggle to buy
- Decentralized network updates the art
- Decentralized network permanent home for the squiggle
8/ What was my contribution to any step of this project?
Nothing at all. I was not involved at all in any way.
I had a vague awareness that it was happening, but was not following any of the details, let alone helping.
9/ Now, some of you are thinking “ok, fine, that is cute, the NFT nerds are collecting NFTs again”
Maybe.
Or maybe collecting NFTs is a generalizable proof of concept, and there is no actual limit to this primitive.
We will see soon enough.
10/ Thank you to all who organized, the voters and everyone who minted.
Great job by all.
This is the nicest floor check, I bought the other two. Do what you will with that, opensea.io/item/ethereum/0x0… @checksvv
Up to 15 Full Credits now... Gotta catch em all, @vvcredits - have fun with Balance tomorrow I am still looking for unique ones.
All the links and pieces in one thread. Amazing
Let's talk participatory conceptual art by @jackbutcher. A thread 🧵 1/14👇

It's an exciting day for the 6529 Network Museum which acquired Squiggle #6529 by @ArtOnBlockchain for 3.01 ETH from Anon.
This purchase was made possible by the people who minted Meme #550, @MadaCollects who contributed 0.5 ETH, and @squiggleDAO who facilitated the sale with the anon owner.
Weth me some checks, sure and now we composite and migrate. Let's see what we get on Sunday FunDay... @checksvv ftw
Are you scared about Red Monday? I still getting Full Credits, another one comes my way. IYKYK, @MadaCollects, @jackbutcher and @vvcredits
I bought this without hesitation over a year ago and no you can not have it. A cousin of this set @opepenedition traded yesterday and I wouldn't be surprised if these don't move again. opensea.io/item/ethereum/0x6… #romeopepen
There will be warnings and signs. This is the right thing to do. TLDR Revoke.cash
Last month, the contracts powering Magic Eden were exploited to the tune of millions of dollars. I was lucky enough to be in a position to rescue a good portion of that, but it highlighted the danger of leaving approvals open as adversaries get access to better and better tools for finding holes in contract logic.
Today, Blur announced that they will be deprecating their frontend.
I've investigated Blur and found no exploits within the current contracts. However, the Blur contracts are upgradable, meaning that they could turn malicious at any time.
They currently have eight figures worth of NFTs approved to them. The safety of those NFTs effectively hinges on the opssec of the Blur team, which appears to be disbanding at this time.
If you have open approvals to Blur, I recommend you remove them immediately. Use revoke.cash or similar to ensure that you are protected in case of a contract exploit or later upgrade.
Don't wait. The time is now.
Are you still Checking things out? Need to understand your Credit to know how to Balance out all of these Statements? Still grabbing perfect Full Credit on my side, good luck with your meme token of the day. cc @vvcredits @checksvv

Did your "Strategy" stop working to support your credits? No problem, Full Credits always good here. Happy to take more while you figure out what Statements you want to make. Short term pain available for short term players. Left or right? @vvcredits

The ME/Limitbreak hack affected a lot of NFTs across the @truth ecosystem, including some of our biggest and most active community members.
Outside of a handful that @0xQuit was able to save, a lot of those stolen NFTs are now flagged on OpenSea and realistically aren’t recoverable.
So we’ve been thinking about what we *can* do.
Here’s the tentative plan:
For stolen Goblins, we change the art/metadata on those NFTs to basically say “stolen” / FU to the hackers, making the stolen versions worthless from an art and metadata perspective.
Then we’ll take Goblins from the Truth treasury, change their art and metadata to match the stolen Goblins, and send those replacement Goblins back to the people who were affected.
So effectively:
Stolen Goblin → art/metadata gets nuked.
Treasury Goblin → becomes the original Goblin and goes back to the affected holder.
There are some downsides. We’ll probably end up giving away a large part, if not all, of the Goblins in our treasury. And anyone who legitimately bought one of the stolen Goblins after the hack could end up holding an NFT with changed metadata. Most appear to be hackers or WETH offers, but if there are legitimate buyers, we’ll work with them to trade it back to the original holder in exchange for one in our treasury.
But I think the upside is worth it.
This was a terrible hack. The people affected didn’t do anything wrong, and many of them are some of the most passionate people in our community and in crypto generally.
We can’t recover everything they lost. But in this case, we actually have the ability to do something.
We’re going to start with @goblintown. If it works well, we’ll look at doing the same for @secretsociety, @the187, Grumpls, and others.
We may also try to buy back the stolen NFTs after their metadata has been changed, burn them, or potentially restore them later depending on what makes the most sense.
We’ll start rolling this out over the next few days. It is going to be a very manual process so bear with me.
If you were affected, DM me here or on Discord with all the details so I can verify everything end to end.
