Good morning from rainy and cold Galilee!
Winter has arrived, and with it the reality of the deep state’s determination to push Gadi Eizenkot toward forming a minority government dependent on terror-supporting Arab parties.
America, too, is waking up to a new dawn, with its own deep state working to paralyze the current administration.
But God…
Since when do we put our trust in politicians?
The Israeli left is poised to break two of its most important promises to its voters: not to form a government dependent on Arab parties and not to sit with the ultra-Orthodox Jewish parties.
Meanwhile, in America, the vice president is blaming the election loss on a war he bears personal responsibility for prolonging.
So let me remind you all:
“Do not put your trust in princes,
in human beings, who cannot save.
When their spirit departs, they return to the ground;
on that very day their plans come to nothing.
Blessed are those whose help is the God of Jacob,
whose hope is in the LORD their God.”
(Psalm 146:3–5)
I don’t see a bright future for the political systems of Israel and America. But I do know that God can turn the hearts of leaders and use even these circumstances to turn people’s hearts toward Him. (Proverbs 21:1)
Tragedies often bring people closer to God. We have seen that since October 7 among many hostages, wounded soldiers, and bereaved families.
October 7 also marked a profound shift throughout the world. While some hearts turned toward God, others revealed the hatred within them. Hatred of Israel has exposed many who call themselves Christians yet show contempt for the very people Paul warned Gentile believers not to boast against. (Romans 11:17–21)
I believe God is testing the world, and its treatment of Israel is part of that test.
GOD IS TESTING THE WORLD! ISRAEL IS THE TEST.
His promise to Abraham still stands: “I will bless those who bless you.” (Genesis 12:3)
That promise echoes in Balaam’s prophecy concerning Israel. Numbers 24:8–9 describes God bringing Israel out of Egypt and giving the nation strength against its enemies. The prophecy then declares:
“Blessed is he who blesses you,
And cursed is he who curses you!”
(Numbers 24:9)
And Paul reminds us that Israel remains beloved because of the fathers, “for the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.” (Romans 11:28–29)
This is why our response must be rooted in God’s Word. This morning, I choose to stand firm in His sovereignty and hold to the LITERAL interpretation of His Word. I believe we will still see Him work in ways we cannot even imagine! (Ephesians 3:20)
Do I think the world will become better and safer? No!
Do I think the forces of the enemy will grow weaker as the end approaches? No! (2 Timothy 3:1–5, 13)
Do I think we have many more years left here? No! But we do not know the day or the hour. (Matthew 24:36)
While we are still here, we must live as the salt of the earth, slowing the decay, and as the light of the world, shining in the darkness. (Matthew 5:13–16) I also believe the Holy Spirit, working through the Church, restrains evil until the appointed time. (2 Thessalonians 2:6–7)
Chin up! Look up! Our redemption draws near! (Luke 21:28)
Until He comes, let’s be about His business, making the most of every opportunity because the days are evil. Let’s not grow weary in doing good! (Luke 19:13; Ephesians 5:15–16; Galatians 6:9)
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
(2 Timothy 1:7)
Awaiting His Soon Return,
Amir
Replacement theology is not just wrong. It is dangerous.
God's choice of Israel was never about Israel. It was about the God of Israel, and it was never performance based. If the nations are judged by how they treated His people and His land, then getting this question wrong carries a cost.
So I went back into the New Testament, through the words of Jesus, the apostles, and the prophets, and showed that God has not changed His mind.
God's Irreplaceable People releases in December. Short, affordable, and written so you can hand it to your pastor, your elders, and your friends.

Shabbat shalom from rainy Galilee,
As I rest at home, recover from whatever I’ve been fighting, and gather strength for a very busy week ahead, I wanted to share some thoughts on recent events in Europe and America.
The West needs to stop confusing material superiority with moral strength.
You can have the strongest economies, the most advanced weapons, and the greatest universities and still become morally bankrupt. Technology cannot replace truth. Wealth cannot replace righteousness. And a Christian past cannot replace faithfulness to God in the present.
Consider what happened in the 7th century. Arab Muslim armies conquered vast territories of the Eastern Roman Empire, including lands where Christianity had been established for centuries.
A Christian writer known as Pseudo-Methodius interpreted those devastating defeats as God’s judgment on Christian unfaithfulness. His interpretation was not Scripture. Yet the warning deserves our attention: outward power can conceal inward decay.
The biblical example goes back much further.
Babylon conquered Judah and destroyed the temple in Jerusalem. Was Babylon more righteous than Judah? Absolutely not! Habakkuk wrestled with that very question: How could God use a nation even more wicked to judge His own people?
Yet God did exactly that. And afterward, He judged Babylon too.
Babylon’s victory did not prove its righteousness. Judah’s defeat exposed the emptiness of claiming a godly heritage while living in rebellion against God.
Now look at the West.
Christianity helped shape its understanding of human dignity, personal responsibility, charity, justice, and the accountability of rulers. Western nations never lived up to those standards perfectly. Far from it. But Scripture provided the standard by which their sins could be exposed and confronted.
Today, much of the West despises that biblical foundation while assuming it can keep enjoying its benefits forever.
We reject God’s authority, mock His Word, redefine morality, and then wonder why our societies are losing their direction.
Do we really believe that economic power and military superiority make us immune to the consequences?
The comparison does not mean that today’s West is ancient Judah, or that we can declare every setback a specific act of divine judgment. The warning is that neither a Christian heritage nor material strength gives a society permission to abandon God without consequence.
And where Islamist movements gain power, their success does not prove that their beliefs are true or their cause is righteous. Babylon’s victory did not make Babylon righteous either. Nor should ordinary Muslims be confused with movements seeking to impose their rule.
The 7th-century conquests and the destruction of ancient Judah are different events. But both confront us with a sobering question: What happens when a people trust in their strength and heritage while abandoning their responsibility before God?
The West needs more than stronger borders, better weapons, and different leaders. It needs repentance.
You cannot keep boasting about the fruits of your Christian heritage while tearing out its roots.
Awaiting His Soon Return,
Amir

Good morning from Galilee.
I have good news and bad news.
Let’s start with the bad so we can end on a better note.
Both in Israel and America, the stolen election results have emboldened the Islamists and globalists. This will become a catalyst for some crazy moves on their side - and paralyzing fear on the other.
In Israel, the head of the Shin Bet - our equivalent of the FBI - reportedly said behind closed doors that what Hamas did to us as a nation on October 7, foreign interference in the October 27 elections did to our democracy. Our parliament was hijacked by Islamists through fraud and bribery.
If you think the elections in America were kosher, I have some ice to sell to the Eskimos.
In almost every state, the numbers simply don’t add up.
They tell you that Republicans voted for Democrats to punish the current administration. I don’t buy it. Republicans showed up and voted, but the number of new voters on the other side defied logic and common sense.
The bad news is that they may already begin threatening to block the current administration from making any move they disagree with. They are already threatening subpoenas and investigations because they know the judicial branch is totally compromised and the media is on their side, too.
America has changed forever. In my view, this was a victory for foreign agents of chaos. They have no interest in America or what it stands for. Their goal is to bring down the West and create a new world order - a move the Islamists will use to advance their vision of an Islamized world.
And once they finish using the useful idiots on the left, they will turn on them, just as the Islamic regime in Iran turned on its former revolutionary allies.
Now, let’s move to the good news:
There is hope.
You can find joy.
You can find love.
You can live with a much higher purpose.
You can be ready to be taken to a better place.
Your eyes can be opened to the truth.
Your life can be transformed.
You can do all things through Him who strengthens you.
You can know Him through His Word and have His Spirit dwelling within you!
His name is Yeshua - “Salvation.” When He came into the world, elderly Simeon took Him in his arms and said:
“For my eyes have seen Your salvation
Which You have prepared before the face of all peoples,
A light to bring revelation to the Gentiles,
And the glory of Your people Israel.”
• Luke 2:30-32
Jesus is the glory of His people Israel and the only way for Gentiles to have their eyes opened to know and believe in the only true God - the God of Israel!
Jews don’t need to become Gentiles.
Gentiles don’t need to become Jews.
Both need to be born again!
Jews must return to the Word of God and stop idolizing rabbinical interpretations. Christians must do the same: return to the Bible and its literal interpretation, abandoning the writings and theologies of church fathers wherever they are tainted by antisemitism.
As the world grows darker, our light should shine even brighter!
Every global crisis should draw us closer to the God who created this world and farther from the evil one whom Scripture calls “the god of this age.”
Committed to Teaching His Word and Awaiting His Soon Return,
Amir
Shalom – and I mean that from the bottom of my heart! If ever there was a time in Israel, the United States, Europe, Africa, and all the rest of the world that we need a strong dose of God’s shalom, it is now. - mailchi.mp/beholdisrael/news…
Good morning from Galilee.
I’ve been up since 4 a.m. battling flu-like symptoms, and I can’t stop thinking about how different things are for America this time.
For decades, I’ve watched power change hands in Washington. Every conservative defeat hurt, but there was always the hope that the pendulum would swing back. This time, I believe conservatives are fooling themselves if they think all they have to do is wait four years. The country the pendulum swings through has changed.
Joe Biden’s border policies were a disaster. Americans have every right to demand answers about who entered their country, how voter eligibility is verified, and whether credible reports of illegal voting are being investigated. But even if every ballot were beyond dispute, conservatives would still have to face an uncomfortable question. How much of the country actually wants what they’re offering?
Bloc voting is a reality. When political organizers urge people to vote for candidates simply because they share a religion, I’m going to ask what those organizers want to do with power. And when Islamist movements seek political influence, I’m going to call it political Islam. Dressing up an agenda in the language of social justice does nothing to change its goals.
America’s Christian heritage helped shape the freedoms that drew people from around the world. Jews, Hindus, and Buddhists came to America to build a better life and become Americans. Many Muslims came for those very same reasons. That is precisely why Americans should confront any movement that uses the freedom it enjoys to undermine the freedom of others.
And spare me the idea that foreign powers are watching all of this from the sidelines. Russia and China have every reason to want a weaker, more divided West. Americans should ask where Qatari money is going and what influence it buys. Ask the same questions of the politicians you vote for and the media personalities you listen to. If you only follow the money when it leads to the other side, you’re protecting your side.
Both camps are compromised in different ways. One sells socialism as the cure for everything. The other gives some of its biggest microphones to people who can find an Israeli conspiracy in just about anything. Before we had an independent Jewish state, they blamed the local Jews. Now they blame the local Jews and the only Jewish state in the world. How convenient.
Europe may yet elect leaders willing to pull their countries out of this misery. In America, I fear the damage runs deeper. When people lose faith in elections, stop trusting the law, and see their own neighbors as enemies, upheaval can turn violent. Anyone who thinks America is immune should read the history of the empires that thought the same thing.
Sadly, as far as America’s political trajectory is concerned, I believe we may already be past the point of no return. I expect more terror from outside and within, more chaos, and eventually the kind of collapse that once seemed unthinkable to every empire that suffered it.
And here’s my question to Christians in America. If an election can take away your hope, where did you put it in the first place?
Turn to Jesus. There is joy in His salvation, and there is a blessed hope in His soon return to gather us to Himself. America may lose its way. You can still walk faithfully in the time He has given you.
If you’ve read this far and still think I’m saying there is no hope, read the previous paragraph again.
“See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”
Ephesians 5:15–16 (NKJV)
Awaiting His Soon Return,
Amir

My encouragement to Christians in America is to hold on to the promises of Scripture and pay closer attention to Bible prophecy than ever before.
America’s growing distance from Israel fits the prophetic picture. In Ezekiel 38, Israel faces the invading coalition without military help from other nations. What we’re seeing today is straight out of the Bible’s description of the last days.
When Jesus spoke to His disciples about what was to come, He told them, “See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet” (Matthew 24:6).
Awaiting His Soon Return,
Amir
