It’s crazy how reactive people are in tech.
When I joined QuickNode 5 yrs ago our competition was raising billions of dollars and no one knew our name. We stayed focused, obsessed over customers, and ended up becoming the household name in blockchain infrastructure while everyone struggled to keep talent and pivoted.
The same applies to what’s happening in AI today.
So many founders and investors have completely lost the plot.
Building products that help humanity and staying true to your mission is unfortunately now a moat.
Excited to share that we are now building @athlete across X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, Twitch and more.
As AI grows, the human connection with sports is going to 100X.
The only real moats left are distribution and cultural relevance. Significantly higher.
Speed is by far the number one skill I look for when hiring.

How fast can you make decisions?
How fast can you follow up with clients?
