Champlin Park football DOMINATED in the first round of the Class AAAAAA playoffs, shutting out Eastview 52-0 @cprebelfootball Preston Nelson ran for 112 yards and three TD’s on just five carries. The Rebels will host Wayzata in the second round on Friday at 6:00.

The Maple Grove boys soccer team was eliminated from the state Class AAA tournament Thursday, losing 2-1 to St. Paul Central in a shootout. The Minutemen won the shootout 4-2. Maple Grove ends the season at 14-4-1 while St. Paul Central advances to the semifinals to face Edina.

The @mgcrimsonxc teams both won team titles at the Section 5AAA championships Thursday. It's the first time both Crimson teams have won the section in the same year. The state meet is November 7th at Majestic Oaks Golf Club in Ham Lake. @MGActivities
