What a walk down memory lane tonight on @UTKnoxville’s campus for the screening of “Seventeen.” Tee Martin, his family, teammates and coaches from @Vol_Football’s 1998 national championship team were in the house. Spencer Barry and his crew at ESPN did a great job with the film.
Lotta good feedback on this. SMU QB Kevin Jennings is a “recruiting nobody” I overlooked. Was committed to Missouri State out of South Oak Cliff High in Dallas before Rhett Lashlee and Casey Woods found him. Jennings is a record-setting three-year starter for the Mustangs and sixth in total offense among Power 4 QBs this season.

Go back to what Jeff Lebby told me in August. The No. 1 goal for Taylor was to start a minimum of 13 games. He made it six and missed large parts of two of those games. Turf toe is a tricky and painful injury. Tough break for Taylor and Mississippi State.
