Thank you to our partners @ParksCalifornia @CAStateParks @SaveTheRedwoods
Our parks need stronger wildfire prevention and climate resilience efforts — not funding rollbacks. Governor Newsom’s proposed budget would backfill $82 million in park funding using Prop 4 dollars, putting critical projects at risk. Use your voice today: calparks.org/prop4backfill.
Volunteers, voters, and park lovers have all shown up for California’s parks. Now we need leadership to do the same. Tell Governor Newsom to protect Prop 4 and invest in new park projects — not backfill past promises. calparks.org/prop4backfill.
Who knew weed pulling could be this joyful? Chino Hills volunteers brought the energy (and the sunscreen). 🌞🌱
Big thanks to our sponsor, @SCE, for supporting this effort and everyone who showed up ready to dig, rake, haul, and help.
Together, we are protecting parks, one project at a time. 🌎 Learn more at volunteer.calparks.org

With gloves on and wheelbarrows ready, they hauled out mountains of weeds, allowing native plants to return and restoring balance to this rare coastal ecosystem. No actual tomatoes were spotted — but a whole lot of community spirit was.
Huge thanks to our incredible volunteers, our park partners, and our sponsors @Target and @BlueShieldCA for supporting this important habitat restoration work.
