Something I love: honestly just being able to move through the world as myself. It’s simple but I makes all the difference. Something I’ve achieved: I started a podcast!! Only five episodes and no listenership to speak of but I really proud of it!

I structured that episode off of a thread I saw back in May about gender dysphoria and euphoria because I thought the framing was enlightening. I believe centering gender euphoria rather than dysphoria provides a much better understanding of the trans experience.

Not to mention, for our cisgender audience, it frames transition as an aspirational goal, rather than a vexing, difficult problem. That shift in perspective I believe can prove fruitful as we attempt to convert our allies into accomplices.
