If looking for another fix from Sunday, my call of the still scarcely believable 100th/102nd over scenes on @1116sen radio. #CWC19

Cummins, Head, Bailey and McDonald - the Aussie brains trust - having a chat on the pitch. Reasonable to assume that on the agenda is the make up of their bowling quartet. #SAvAUS @SEN_Cricket @1116sen @Final_Word_Pod

Pat Cummins says no XI today. Smith tbc. Adds when asked that Green will play - they prefer him in the middle order, but stopped short of confirming him as 5 not 3. Acknowledged Lyon v fourth seamer question also still be answered. #SAvAUS @SEN_Cricket @1116sen @Final_Word_Pod

TFW Weekly out! @norcrosscricket joins Geoff to ponder upcoming winter and the conventions of naming storm systems, as we tell ourselves that we'll talk about something other than just South Africa and Australia, then inevitably do that anyway. Listen: pod.fo/e/6f2767

By a mile the greatest sporting story of the week (that no one actually watched) theguardian.com/sport/2026/o…

Bavuma’s nine-hour masterpiece was art we risk losing in South Africa’s Test purge | Barney Ronay

T20 franchise cricket is trash sport and killing the red-ball game is cultural vandalism. What would George Orwell have made of this?

What a Test match! Really enjoyed capturing the spirit of the Gqeberha game for @cricinfo. Terrific to go to Cape Town with everything on the line. cricinfo.com/story/sa-vs-aus…

It wasn't supposed to go that deep. But then, a nightwatchman isn't supposed to bat all day. And a team's fourth seamer isn't supposed to bowl the best deliveries. The unexpected came around in various ways in the push to the finish line at Gqeberha. pod.fo/e/6e3d15

9 of the 11 wickets in this Test have come within 7 balls of a bowler starting a new spell; 8/11 in the first over. The other two were from Boland, with his 10th and 11th deliveries of the match. #SAvAUS @SEN_Cricket @1116sen @Final_Word_Pod
