Hello @BritishAirways were due to fly us from Marrakesh back home to Gatwick at 2010 this evening. Instead, we were disembarked, given several reasons about what had happened, and were told they'd need to reboot the plane by turning it on and off. 2 hours later, still no news!

🚨NEWS: I spoke with Trump by phone earlier today: we discussed the upcoming royal visit, whether Sir Keir Starmer can recover following strained US-UK relations over the last 2 months of war with Iran, and what his social media threats against Iran really mean. 🧵👇

Anyone know how to get hold of a tactile accessible version of the board game Go that blind people can play? Much appreciated. I'm in London, UK and have had no luck finding it locally so am reaching out far! . #blind #igo #baduk #GoCommunity #GoPlayers

bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-n… There are very many who would simply like us to disappear. I don't know whether to be very angry or deeply sad. A bit of both perhaps.

The treatment of disabled people should not be based on a cost-benefit analysis.
The cost of denying disabled people access, accommodation, equity and injustice in every aspect of life is immeasurable.

I think the Steve Wright theme was the best jingle/branding on the radio.
Love this video of it being recorded.

He was, quite simply, brilliant…a broadcaster in a class of his own. As a tribute to Steve Wright, I play the Steve Wright in the Afternoon theme. #SteveWright

For disabled people, inaccessibility is not an inconvenience.
Inaccessibility is injustice.

I am a veracious reader. I lost my sight at 13 in 1984 and it wasn't until gone 2010 or later that books really started to proliferate in electronic format. I feel I'm catching up after a 26 year drought.
Thinking about disabled people in the New York floods today' just after @MikScarlet talked about choosing a flat atop a hill for fear of this on @bbcaccessall podcast #ecoableism

KHARKIV—In the heart of a resilient Ukrainian city, I share the harrowing ordeal of midnight strikes and the indomitable spirit of its people sharing food and sips of a fortifying spirit in the shelter.
I question the timing and boosting of a New York Times report linking a Ukrainian missile to tragedy in Kostiantynivka. Why doesn't the Times provide a similar focus on U.S. companies collaborating with Russia, or how about an illustrated breakdown of how relatively little the US has actually spent on Ukraine?
I also share a heartwarming tale of a Czech volunteer in a wheelchair delivering a drone at high speed to Ukrainian soldiers. 🇺🇦💪 #UkraineStrong #Resilience #SupportUkraine
