This is an exercise in turning a depraved ad and a horrific miscalculation into a symbol of strength.
Not sure Ohioans are going to agree.
🚨 BREAKING: Vivek Ramaswamy tells the Fake News outrage mob to SHOVE IT, he's NOT backing down after posting an ad of Amy Acton's mom calling her a liar
"You never start a fight — but if you find yourself in one, you FINISH IT...They've attacked ME. They DEFAMED my mother to media SILENCE."
"Yet at the same time, they'll trot out anything to attack a Republican." 💯
"The fact of the matter is I am running against somebody who is crazy, unstable and DISHONEST."
"If they actually believe these are unfair attacks, you know what my opponent would be doing? She'd be agreeing to show up on a debate with me, as I agreed to on CNN and NBC!"
There is no reason for @VivekGRamaswamy to apologize to these country-destroying Democrats.
Acton has refused EVERY live debate invitation in the Ohio governor's race — including CNN and NBC affiliate WLWT — while hiding from unscripted questions and running millions in personal smears against him and his family!
Amy Acton is getting the Kamala treatment. She must lose at all costs.
Just finished a quick speaking trip to Canada and was reminded all over again: Canadiens are really nice!
.@POTUS doesn't have great October surprise in his hand.
An end to the war would be great but seems out of reach.
A full-out return to combat would be a disaster.
But an 11th hour trade deal w/Canada is an option he still might pursue to help his senate candidates in Northern states.

Are you a nervous Democrat? This will calm you down. Or not. At least you’ll laugh.
Give @POTUS credit for leveling with the American people. HE's making money like he's never made before. And he doesn't give a damn about high gas prices.
(Not a great closing message, though.)

“There is no office that is worth stooping that low” — Obama portrays Vivek Ramaswamy’s vile attack ad as an affront to basic decency
Lacerating and hilarious commentary on @POTUS's WH redesign from a guy who once lived there.
"I want to be a senator for every Texan who can't afford one."
Hell of a line from @jamestalarico in the rally clip below, commenting on the mind-blowing sum of special interest money being spent on behalf of Ken Paxton, led Elon's more than $150 million.
Talarico: This election is a battle between the powers that be and the powers that ought to be. The powers that be have chosen their candidate. They have bought and paid for Ken Paxton.
But we are standing with the powers that ought to be the teachers and the nurses, the farmers and the ranchers. The grandmother who is facing eviction, the little boy who's waking up in the middle of the night from the lights of the data center, the small business owner, who is struggling to keep his family restaurant open. Those Texans are my team.
They are why I'm in this race. I want to be a senator for every Texan who can't afford one. You want to know why they are spending $200 million against me? Because I don't take their money, and I never will. I don't work for them. I work for you
How Trump Gave the Worst Polluters a Free Pass.
In so many ways. impact of the @realDonaldTrump presidency will be generational.

Vivek goes all Rama-swampy! A @HacksonTap, pre-election Friday special, with the boys plus the great @SarahLongwell25!

The irony of the statement below is that Vivek has succeeded in underscoring his OWN flaws--by running a dispicable ad, well beyond the bounds of even today's tawdry standards. In a race that was slipping away, he tossed a dirty bomb in the mix, unsupported by facts or an iota of decency.
The @POTUS has stacked the DOJ, DHS and other relevant agencies with election deniers in high places.
This absurd motion reflects what we knew. The apparatuses of the federal government are now but so many arrows in the president's quiver.
Expect more of this as Election Day approaches and after.

If you're thinking about the midterms, this string on the youth vote is well worth your time.
@POTUS did relatively well with young voters in 2026. It was a noted factor in his win.
But they're swinging hard against the @GOP this fall, according to a new poll by the @HarvardIOP.
🚨Democrats lead Republicans 63%–26% among likely voters ages 18–29 in our Harvard Youth Poll.
63% of #GenZ say their midterm vote is opposition to Trump and his policies.
Young voters are poised to deliver a sharp rebuke. Here’s what’s driving it. 🧵

Trump on Amy Acton: "If what the mother said about the daughter is half right, she has no right even running for the governor of Ohio..."
KC: What about what the daughter said about the mother?
TRUMP: "I don’t know what she said."
KC: "That the mother remained married to her stepfather who sexually abused her when she was 12 years old."
TRUMP: "When did she make that statement? Was it just recently?"
KC: "Years ago. He was charged with it."
.@amyactonoh's birth mother, now starring in the @VivekGRamaswamy ad @POTUS defends, fled the state with her husband after he was accused of sexually abusing her 12 yr old daughter, and stayed with him until he died.
This is the tragedy that Vivek, and @POTUS, have chosen to exploit in the 11th hour of a losing campaign.
Mahoning County Court records show that @amyactonoh's stepfather was arrested & charged with sexually abusing Acton, then 12 years old...After pleading not guilty, he posted bond and fled, becoming a fugitive of the state until his death in 2004.
