Archaeology is not a science, and archaeologists know this.

Go to this page, drop a message letting me know you’re coming and if we get enough interest we will run a second event that weekend. I do like to talk, after all… facebook.com/share/19keVq7RR…

If you haven’t seen this yet, you’re missing out. Hilarious show with a ton more potential, you can see the beginnings of something like The Office in the chemistry and writing. youtu.be/dc1B5aKNmKw?is=s_dh…

Just like the last time we engaged, @adancingferret misrepresented ancient Egypt, this time ignoring the accounts of financial ruin Herodotus spoke of, and when it became clear I knew what I spoke of, she accused me of sexism and ran from our talk.

Paleontology is apparently archaeology now
Proof: Dinosaur bones. Evidence: The existence of dinosaurs. So @DeDunkingPast , so PROOF does exist and it matters. Your welcome.

Check out this coward. Talked shit for months til I unblocked him, then just like @adancingferret , when unblocked, all the sudden this academic is afraid to discuss data, and cries I said mean things. To people who said worse to me mind you. Cowards.

Is defining a square and circle pointless? What if squares get state funding and circles do not? Touch grass
Pointless debate. It makes no difference either way. Facts are facts, regardless of the methods used to establish them. Science is an imperfect means of finding the truth, not the truth itself.

I unblock this guy and despite claiming he want a to engage me cause he’ll prove I’m wrong, immediately he resorts to this crap. Posting me flaming those who called me racist or sexist or phobic or whatever. Because… I know more about his field than he does.

If the ancient Egyptians used modern cranes, and worked 24 hours a day, they could achieve the mainstream archaeological timeline of 20-ish years. They have something fundamentally wrong when it comes to ancient Egypt.

Funny how archaeologists argue with me about everything up to and including the length of Cleopatra’s pubic hair, but this they ignore like they do their student’s requests for evidence of the 20 year pyramid.

Justine you are incapable of basic logic. You started with 'Dan is making up definitions' & now say 'Dan is wrong because of undisclosed reasons'. Justine, debate ,me. Or admit you're afraid. You clearly lie in text, linking irrelevant articles. So debate me. Or be a coward.

Watch her accuse me of sexism and run like her offspring does when Uncle Zahi visits for Thanksgiving.

@BAJRjobs and @adancingferret talk a big game, but they’re gonna make poor @jtlewis_arch face me alone… You guys are gonna enable me to change the public discourse here. Through laziness and hubris. Something y’all seem to struggle with.

Overt lies from Flint’s side chick. All to make me look bad. The science communicators in archaeology lie about their own fields, for ideological reasons, *as a rule*.
Additionally there are two “Hudjefa” - the earliest is a 2nd Dynasty king attested on 2 Ramesside era king lists and may be the 2nd Dynasty king Set-Peribsen as the placeholder “erased/illegible” appears before the name of king Khasekhemwy The second occurrence of “Hudjefa” in the Ramesside king lists is in the 3rd Dynasty and is probably Khaba and is also possibly the “Sedjes” in the Abydos King List, though Huni is another possibility. While there is some confusion in reconciling king lists composed over a thousand years after the reigns of those early kings, the general chronology of the Early Dynastic and Old Kingdom established by a combination of textual, astronomical, radiocarbon, and archaeological evidence in Egypt and neighboring regions is pretty solid, however much Dan would like to pretend it isn’t.
