I'm seeing people try and say Highland Park is typical "Chicago".
Highland Park Illinois is where Michael Jordan lived.
It's where 16 Candles, Home Alone, Risky Business, and Ferris Bueller were filmed.
This is not "Chicago".
It's one of the wealthiest towns in America

It pains me to do it, but I'm skipping the WSOP 100k today
Day 9 after getting covid. Still testing positive with a barely visible line on my rapid test

Lot of high-profile Covid cases already at WSOP, and this is just the people conscientious enough to be testing and reporting it. It's going to get worse as summer progresses. If you're playing, an N95 or KN95 mask will significantly reduce your risk (and hide your tells!).
Just tested positive for Covid. Thought maybe I was immune (neither of my sons got it, nor did my Mom)…Good news: no cough. Not hungry all day! Mind is a little foggy as I slept “17 awful hours.” I feel like my best chance for a bracelet was todays @WSOP $10,000 Omaha 8/B, sigh

Just tested positive for Covid on 2 antigen tests. Still gonna get PCR to confirm, but I most likely will be skipping the $25k tomorrow and possibly the $50k on Monday.
NGL feel super bummed rn. WSOP $25k is my favorite event of the year.
Stay safe out there fam <3
Dear diary,
Not much going on in the world. Besides a global pandemic and rioting and looting on the streets, it is just another average Tuesday.
Oh! Selling Sunset was released on Netflix. So that is pretty exciting.
I'll post again when something happens.
Yours truly,
Me
