Jon wrote an excellent book that I highly recommend. Our book club is also reading another self-published novel-Theo of Golden (thank you, @tabigibson !), which is arguably one of the best novels I’ve read in a great while. It never would have made it through, imo, the traditional way.
Self-publishing is pretty much the only option.
About 70% of publishing professionals are women.
Because agents and editors tend to select books they personally relate to, an increasing number of male authors are being sidelined in the publishing industry, resulting in an overwhelming number of female protagonists on our shelves—and a dearth of male ones.
No wonder young men are no longer reading.

Male R candidates need to be carefully vetted for handsomeness, facial symmetry, good gonial angles, clear skin, trim build, thick hair.
Basically 99% of the GOP candidates who lost failed the most basic looksmaxxer test, even when adjusted for age.
