This past weekend, the horse racing world gathered at @keeneland for the 2026 @breederscup. Thanks to rigorous safety standards and the tremendous efforts of veterinarians, trainers and racetrack staff, all Breeders' Cup starters returned safely to their stalls for dinner. #BC26

This summer, with the help of an expert nutrition task force and @JockeysGuild, we launched a nutrition program for jockeys at racetracks across the nation, including @BelmontPark1905, @keeneland, @parxracing, @santaanitapark and @Saratoga1863. Read more: hisaus.org/news/hisa-expands…

When a horse is ready to retire, it's important for the owner or trainer to follow the right steps to move them to the next phase of their career. Since HISA and @jockeyclub are independent, it's important you notify both organizations of a horse's retirement. #HorseRacing

Have you heard about the Void Claim Rule? Horses can be claimed through claiming races when potential owners enter a draw to buy horses. While claiming usually goes smoothly, sometimes claims are voided due to, among other things, injury, death or an adverse analytical finding.
