Herman Martin, 44, is facing a single count of forcible r*pe.
He was arrested after a woman reported to police that he’d forced her to engage in s*x acts against her will.
The victim, a prostitute, said that officer Herman Martin scheduled a “meeting” with her in a room at the motel 6.
She was not expecting a knock on the door from a uniformed officer.
When he entered the room, she said, he told her he would arrest her if she didn’t do what he wanted.
The Norfolk Police Department said Martin has been placed on administrative duty pending the outcome of the investigation.
