AIIMS Awantipora a dream not only envisaged by Marhoum Mufti Sahab but also fulfilled ten years later is a testament of his vision for J&K. Really wish he was alive because it would’ve given him immense happiness to see South Kashmir get top notch healthcare.

A moment of hope! Michigan’s election of Abdul El-Sayed sends a powerful message against Trump and his Islamophobia and anti Muslim hatred. First Mamdani in New York, now El-Sayed in Michigan a victory for inclusion, dignity and humanity. Hats off to the American people for choosing hope over hate .

Srinagar, J&K: On PDP's Foundation Day celebrations, PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti says, "Sheikh Abdullah acceded to India and transitioned from Prime Minister to Chief Minister. He is responsible for the destruction of Kashmir. Even now, the National Conference demands autonomy, but despite holding a majority of seats and being in government, they have no power to effect real change. Recently, Farooq Abdullah stated that "we have Pakistan at our back and they save us," yet yesterday in Delhi, he declared that "we are with India." They show a double face—one for Kashmir and another for Delhi. The National Conference is responsible for ruining Kashmir; they make backdoor entries and have used task forces to kill Kashmiris. We appeal to the Government of India: the Kashmir issue cannot be resolved through UAPA; Kashmir needs dialogue and lasting peace."

Deeply moved and overwhelmed by the massive turnout of our PDP family at today’s workers’ convention. Words fall short of expressing my gratitude to every worker and leader who stood by me through the most challenging of times. Your love, faith and unwavering solidarity have been my greatest strength. I shall always cherish this bond. My heartfelt salutations to you all.🫡
“How long will you keep Kashmir closed and try to maintain peace through force?”
In a pointed address at the PDP Workers’ Convention in Srinagar, Party President Ms @MehboobaMufti called out the growing mistrust towards Kashmiris, the targeting of local youth and employees, and the marginalisation of tribal communities. She asserted that Jammu & Kashmir cannot be governed through coercion. Dialogue, dignity and the restoration of people’s rights must take precedence.
Through difficult times and changing circumstances, the PDP’s workers and its leaders have stood their ground with remarkable resilience. Their commitment reflects a political belief that cannot be measured by numbers or electoral fortunes. The journey continues, with dignity and determination.
