KENYA EMERGENCY RESPONSE Forced to flee. Leaving everything behind. Facing an uncertain tomorrow. As violence escalates in southern Ethiopia, an estimated 50,000 people have crossed into Kenya in search of safety. Among them are thousands of women and children, forced from their homes with little more than hope for survival. For families who have lost so much, even the next meal is uncertain. Working in partnership with the Kenya Red Cross Society, Khalsa Aid International have committed to an emergency food response, supporting a community hot meal programme across six displacement camps in Moyale, Kenya. Because humanitarian aid is more than providing food. It is about restoring dignity, offering comfort and reminding families facing unimaginable hardship that they have not been forgotten.
