This is the grim reality of Chicago under Mayor Brandon Johnson. River North is one of the richest parts of the city with some of the highest rent in Chicago, yet paying top dollar no longer guarantees basic municipal service. While Johnson hyper-focuses on forcing low-income housing into the city’s wealthiest areas to satisfy an ideological agenda, he cannot even maintain basic public safety, sanitation, and order on the streets we already have. Pushing complex social engineering policies while failing at fundamental city management shows exactly where this administration's priorities lie—and it isn't with law-abiding taxpayers.
