A recent consultation from @energygovuk sought views on how to reform consumer protection for home upgrade schemes.

On 27 August, @energygovuk announced that plug-in, or ‘balcony’, solar panels are now legal to buy and use across the UK, with systems limited to 800W peak output and designed to feed electricity into a standard 13A mains socket.
