Why have so many in the US business, academia and political worlds done so little to create a sense of urgency and act on the pandemic? Where are public information spots? Where's the natl campaign to donate to relief funds or food banks? My take on @cnn.

Is there only one person in the world who can actually do something about the fact that the war is spiraling out of control? @POTUS? The Middle East is at risk of coming apart and it's in the hands of Donald Trump?

Just one question newsroom execs.
What was the downside of not participating?

The least experienced person ever to run a major news organization has, despite her own sympathies about concentration camps in WWII, chosen to delay a story about the horrors in a US camp. Tragic for one of the world's greatest investigative teams. And yet, not shocking.
CBS News postponed a "60 Minutes" segment Sunday because it lacked a Trump admin interview, per an email we obtained from correspondent Sharyn Alfonsi, who said the decision by EIC Bari Weiss gave the White House a "kill switch." with @liamjscott

Is it reasonable to assume that we'll be seeing conservative stars like @greggutfeld on @CBSNews before too long?

Well said @MarkCHealey. They don't play good ball, don't have good at bats collectively or individually and consistenly make mistakes on the field and in the dugout. They haven't been taught, drilled or held accountable. There's no leadership. Change at the top thus mandatory.
Hadn't thought about the leak strategy that includes leaking to motivate the player.
Replying to @MarkCHealey
In some situations this is how it's done. Throw this out there and see what comes back. Prepare the team. On the other hand seems like The Mets front office is a little more buttoned down than this.
Better be an awfully good starting pitcher if Vientos is getting moved. Especially at this moment.
The Mets are discussing Mark Vientos in trade talks and are believed open to moving him this week.

Any rules @CNN on commentators appearing at rallies? Thoughtful comments on the podium about "owning the libs."

How ironic that @amazon has just made available an extraordinary documentary about my former boss Katharine Graham of @washingtonpost.com. Here's hoping Amazon founder and Post owner Jeff Bezos, his associates and today's Post management spend 90 minutes reflecting on her legacy.
