1st time I’ve seen a boomslang by our driveway, gutted it was dead. It was beautiful.They’re highly venomous tree snakes,but shy,non aggressive &rarely bite humans.Less that 6bites a yr recorded in SA. More people die from toasters about 700 a yr! #perspective #bewareofthetoaster

Day 14 of my Australian Adventure with @southaustralia & we stumbled across the unbelievable egg laying echidna! The world’s oldest mammal, 120 million yrs! Just adorable.Then sea lions, seals, lunch & awesome rocks.What a day to end our unbelievably awesome Australian Adventure.

Day11 of my Australian Adventure. Up at 4.30 for sunrise &bird song over the MurrayRiver then off bird spotting with Murray River Trails. Faves today:pelican, yellow billed spoonbills,red capped robin. Then the A lister mammals!Kangaroos! (Used I phone & scope for pics!)fab day.

Day10 of my Australian Adventure &we arrived in Adelaide.Straight to the Botanic Garden for a tour with Haydyn from Bookabee Tours Australia.A bonus of a huge fruit bat colony! Next, a river trip with Murray River Trails on a stunning solar powered boat, Can’t wait for tomorrow.

Day9 of myAustralian Adventure with @southaustralia on #theghan &the strange town of CooberPedi. It’s a wilderness,beautiful in its bleakness but scarred by Opal mining. So hot, people live underground. A 5614km dogfence built to protect farms from dingoes.I found it fascinating

Day 8 of my Australian Adventure with @NT_Australia & today we arrived in Alice Springs, located in the Red Centre. It was the perfect day to be here as @lonelyplanet has just named the Red Centre as one of the Best In Travel destinations for 2027 for its Immersive Art Tours 👏👏

Day5 of my Australian Adventure with @NT_Australia I was treated to a beautiful spiritual saltwater welcome @ the Larrakia Cultural Centre I was immersed into their living culture &their profound belief in a connection 2 Mother Nature &her importance as a living breathing spirit

Day 4 with @NT_Australia Coffee, Aboriginal art gallery, more incredible rock art & culture,then off in search of crocs and birdlife.Kakadu is home to 1/3rd of Australia’s birds so it’s a birdwatchers haven. Fave’s of the day: the Azure kingfisher, the whistling kite & the Jabiru

Day3 of my Australian adventure @NT_Australia . 2Day was all about rocks.Spent the day at Davidson’s Arnhemland Safari Lodge looking at amazing Aboriginal rock art.The caves have the highest concentration of rock art in the world.Ended with a sunset cruise & some fab birdwatching

Hey I'm in Australia! Arrived in Darwin this eve& straight to the vibey Mindil Beach Market. I'm going on an amazing adventure over the next 2weeks hosted by @NT_Australia & @southaustralia Traveling from Darwin to Adelaide, on the Ghan Train. But 1st, a Stunning Darwin sunset!

I give you the fabulous dung beetle.A creature that needs to be celebrated.They are super strong weight lifters!They lay their single egg in the dung brood ball &then bury it.The egg hatches &the grub eats the dung. And c’mon, you've got to admit, the adult is kinda beautiful?
