Exciting to see so many fantastic submissions to the 'Visualizations and modelling' category at #SQLBits. our evaluators are going to have a tough job ahead of them.
Great day at the #EasternGautengAquatics gala today and a nice haul of ribbons for the oldest. @SQLSwimmer would be proud.
Had a great time talking at @JavaAfrica with @rorypreddy on @AzureCosmosDB and @VSCodeJava with Spring cloud Azure

Of your prod dbs, what's the oldest compatibility level you still have? Am curious to know how many have 1 or more production databases whose compatibility level is 2012 or older?
And please RT - thanks!
25%2012
24%2008/2008 R2
3%2005 or older

Hi @MicrosoftLearn , please could we fix the timings on some of your modules? I've just done a module that estimates 28 minutes but actually takes around 3 hours. it makes it really hard to plan our studies. (Some modules are spot on so its not even consistent)
An example is docs.microsoft.com/en-us/lea… which estimates 3 minutes but the unit has 2400 words on the page and with an average reading speed of 70mpw that's over 30 minutes (10 times longer).
Join us next week when @Janine225 will walk us through her adventure working with streaming data inside od #Azure, register here meetup.com/johannesburg-data… #Meetup
Kicking off out first meeting with @Wazdarocsta telling us about what is new in the world of data.
Wow it’s been a long time since we got to meet in person. Looking forward to seeing everyone this evening. @MicrosoftSA #communityEvening
