Ellis Boyle, U.S. attorney for eastern North Carolina, suggested on an Oct. 21 podcast that removing the "bad" 5% of the population would improve future generations by preventing children with a "gene pool of more bad." The host called that biblical. Boyle answered, "Praise the Lord."
He never explained what "removed" meant. But the man entrusted with prosecuting crimes was imagining a better future with fewer descendants of people he deems bad. A legal system built on individual responsibility has no business weighing the worth of unborn children.

There is no evidence of deliberate censorship. But when an AI search tool used by billions treats a certified election result like an unresolved question, the public deserves more than "technical gap." It deserves a clear explanation of how the verification system failed on one of the easiest democratic facts to verify.

Word travels fast in the forest. Baby Mwezi’s first day out with the Umani herd was a great success!
Murera gave birth in the middle of the night, tucked up in her stockade, but word still got out quickly in Kibwezi Forest. So quickly that, come dawn, all the wild-living orphans were waiting to meet her.
In case you missed yesterday’s news: bathed in the light of a near-full moon, Murera gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. She chose to deliver in her stockade, the place that has been her night-time sanctuary all these years. The whole thing was seamless, and mother and baby are both marvellous.
More to come, but we wanted to share Mwezi’s first moments with you. (Her name means ‘moon’ in Swahili!)
