✅ You need a STRONG invoice. ❌ Do not use family & friends EVER. In a dispute, PayPal will check the invoice details, the proof of delivery and the agreement of the service. It's your job to make sure all of those are clearly outlined on the invoice. If someone seriously opens a case against you, PayPal will treat the process as entirely factual and check all the evidence. So you MUST have clear documentation. PayPal won't actually care if the client didn't like the product in the end (sad for us clients if the artist is trying to take advantage of us), they only care about 3 things: 1. A custom service was actually provided 2. The client agreed to the service provided 3. The artist followed the terms outlined in the service. Read on to see how to create a solid invoice.
