if you’re small pretend you’re big if your big be humble
The Jeff Dean fund raising deck was more humble than this.

"yOu woUldn't BuY an AccouNT"
Twitter wants me to confirm I'm over 18. Bitch, my ACCOUNT is 18 years old.

checks profile. ah yes.
If Da Vinci were alive today, he would have done this in Todoist 😄 Joke aside, it’s really inspiring to see how timeless todo lists are.

til. if your vocab is predictable (basic) the keyboard works best for you
many phone keyboards expand and shrink the hitbox of each key based on what predictive text thinks you're try to write. Type "hell" then hit the right side of the key next to "o" and it'll register as o anyway. But when it guesses the wrong word, it basically just gaslights you.

so true
People don't really understand that if a person is loyal to you, it's because of their character and morals, not because you are special

there's a thing in statistics where we figure out frauds after the fact. because we learn more about how numbers are distributed. i guess the same thing's gonna happen with AI.
After having Codex check 120 different generated videos, models do NOT generate low-frequency airplane Dopplers

i love it when people make something i didn't even know would change my life
Code in macOS 27.3 hints that Apple might be working on a "Force Paste" feature for Safari If true, this would allow you to paste into text fields that websites block and make you type in text manually

the wabi sabi (imperfection) of hand made code has been strong recently.

UX doesn't matter unless the user is there to have fun. just have your agent do it.

talking to an AI customer assistant. they failed to solve my problem but somehow they are still somehow more helpful than humans (i hate it)

me running track: "i'm standing still, it's the track that's running"
Replying to @connor_beem
Like how are they measuring how fast the sun is moving? Relative to what? Relative to what Connor??

ai is coming for this feeling
I’ve just finished a book I loved and I miss it. I’m starting a new book and I’m MAD because who the hełl are these people

Just found out about the concept of "glimmers" (the literal opposite of triggers). They are those tiny, blink-and-you-miss-it moments of pure peace or joy in your day. It’s that warm cup of coffee, a good song, or a sudden feeling of peace. Once you start noticing them, they are everywhere.
