An Ex-Servicemen Outreach Programme was conducted at Kasganj under the aegis of Headquarters Uttar Bharat . The event was attended by AAG Veterans, HQ UB and Secretary,ZSWO Kasganj. The event was coordinated by ZSWO Kasganj & HQ Uttar Bharat.
The programme witnessed the participation of approximately 125 ex-servicemen and their dependents. On-site resolution of grievances related to pension, SPARSH, and ECHS was provided, along with dissemination of information related to veteran welfare schemes. A total of 82 grievances were addressed on spot.Special emphasis was placed on facilitating Digital Life Certificate and online grievance redressal, especially for elder veterans.
The outreach programme was well received by the ex-servicemen comunity.

Strengthening disaster preparedness and emergency response capabilities, #11GRRC under the aegis of #MadhyaUttarPradeshSubArea of #SuryaCommand conducted the second day of specialised training for Civil Defence Organisation personnel from 24 to 26 October 2026.
The intensive training focused on CBRN defence, unexploded ordnance (UXO) awareness and mass casualty management, equipping participants with essential knowledge and practical skills to respond effectively to emergencies.
Hands-on sessions covered protective equipment handling, contamination avoidance, evacuation drills, casualty triage, first aid and safe casualty evacuation. Simulated mass casualty scenarios further enhanced coordination, teamwork and crisis response capabilities.
The training reinforced the importance of military-civil cooperation, developing a skilled, confident and coordinated response mechanism to safeguard lives during emergencies.

An impactful outreach and motivation programme was conducted on 26 Oct 2026 at Shree Krishna College of Pharmacy, Sitapur, for cadets of 22 UP Battalion NCC. The strength included 624 cadets and faculty members (250 girl cadets, 350 boy cadets, 06 JCOs, 08 NCOs and 10 ANOs).
The session covered the Agnipath Scheme, Agniveer Women Military Police (AVWMP) and officer entry schemes, including NDA, CDS, OTA and NCC Special Entry. Eligibility criteria, selection procedures, rally-related changes, written examinations, documentation and medical standards were explained, while queries were addressed comprehensively. Girl cadets were encouraged to pursue opportunities in SSC Technical/Non-Technical entries, Women CMP and Military Nursing Services.
Cadets were also sensitised to the importance of vocational training and sports achievements in earning additional recruitment marks, along with post-Agniveer career opportunities in CAPFs, State Police and Defence PSUs. The programme reinforced the values of discipline, integrity, courage and selfless service, while publicity material was distributed to promote awareness and inspire youth to join the Armed Forces.

In a significant step towards strengthening civil-military synergy and national resilience, #SuryaCommand commenced a first-of-its-kind Civil Defence Organisation Training Programme for 73 Civil Defence Volunteers from #Lucknow district at 11 GRRC, from 26 to 28 October 2026. The initiative aimed to revitalise Civil Defence capabilities, enhance community preparedness and strengthen civilian support mechanisms during future security contingencies and military conflicts.
The inaugural session, held on 24 October 2026, was addressed by Maj Gen Maneesh Kukrety, #GOC, Madhya Uttar Pradesh Sub Area (#MUPSA) and Shri DK Thakur, #IPS, Director General, Civil Defence & Home Guards, who highlighted the vital role of trained volunteers in building a resilient and responsive nation.

Under the aegis of ZRO Lucknow, ARO Agra, in collaboration with 4 UP Bn NCC, Etawah, under the aegis of NCC Group Headquarters, Agra, of NCC Directorate Uttar Pradesh, engaged NCC cadets attending the Advance Leadership Camp in an interactive outreach session on career opportunities in the Indian Army.
From eligibility and selection procedures to Agniveer recruitment and womenโs entry schemes, including Women Military Police (WMP), enthusiastic participation and candid Q&A helped cadets clear their doubts and explore pathways to serve the Nation.

Under aegis of HQ Paschim UP Sub Area, Military Engineer Services (MES) has successfully renovated 48 Married Accommodation dwelling units for troops at Meerut Cantonment, with superior specifications and finishes thereby enhancing the quality of living by meeting user aspirations with contemporary engineering practices.
