If you missed the teaser for #TheCaptainFilm, here it is. We did our thing on this film. This is just the beginning.
“Once you win, there’s nothing else to do but to win again.” Derek Jeter is pulling back the curtain in “The Captain,” a multi-part documentary event coming in July to ESPN and @ESPNPlus.

Diogo Dalot is an awful football player. He’s been on the squad for years and I have no idea what he’s good at. None.

Wait. THAT is what changed her mind?? Lol
Detroit’s Virginia Jackson says she was going to vote for Mike Rogers, “but when Haley Stevens did what she did, it changed my mind back to Abdul. You use the Black church to try to convince me that Rogers is the right one? Oh no, no.” Jackson says she also voted for John James.

Give us a floor, give us a cap system like the NBA, call it a day

The timing of when the owners would want the salary cap is interesting given their huge media rights deal will be negotiated around the same time. They’re not slick. Haha

Just take it off the table already.
Major League Baseball proposed postponing the implementation of a salary cap until the 2028 season while still putting into place the other elements of its labor offer for 2027, citing the difficulty of teams navigating free agency amid the current uncertainty.

If I’m the Yankees, and if I believe he can stay healthy, I would be very aggressive in trying to acquire Jordan Westburg. He would be a main target of mine, acknowledging that the injury history is a concern, but not a death knell.

Man doesn’t want to sleep on the couch for the rest of the season.
This is the best team in the #NFL. If they stay healthy, they beat everybody.

Symone Sanders: Everybody talking about the Karens. We should have been worried about the Haleys.

Seattle has one guy on offense. The 49ers just need health and maybe one more depth addition. They put up 400 yards on the Falcons with Watkins, Cooks, and Cowing.
The Bears look like a heavy hitter who just added a stud interior defensive lineman The 49ers won’t swing a trade to upgrade the IOL but based on their roster building philosophy, a nice counter punch would be going all in on a All-Pro WR

It’s their job to think about it, so in that sense, this is totally logical. I strongly doubt they'll pursue him heavily, though, for many reasons, including Hal being super supportive of a salary cap.
The New York Yankees are “thinking” about pursuing Tarik Skubal in free agency and then trading from their stockpile of pitchers, per @kileymcd (espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/5035…)

My office is monitoring this issue with scanners in Westchester and is in touch with the state and local Boards of Elections as they work on a solution. Westchester voters can still safely fill out and turn in their ballots at their polling locations. Your votes will count.

JSN is incredible. Seattle doesn’t have one good skill player besides him and he’s still doing his thing. He’s their entire offense. It’s crazy.

Several figures here aren’t federal results or NY-specific. The $472B combines US wide pledges: Micron's $250B is nationwide (NY site $100B) Anthropic's $50B covers TX and NY. The 48% murder drop is from NY's state run GIVE program (28 departments, Jan – May 2026). arkolith.com/news/news-micr… therepublic.com/?p=843020 governor.ny.gov/news/safer-str…

I’m not saying they won’t add but I’m not expecting multiple big pieces or big names for the offense. It will be your JP Crawford types. Maybe, they bring in one big piece via trade. I think it’s more possible the larger spends are for the pen.
Replying to @pamsson
Hal was set on offense being the issue … im curious to see what they say if they run it all back . To say all of that and then do nothing smh . I have very low expectations

Gary and I both questioned the Yankees’ appetite to aggressively rebuild the roster at multiple spots with external additions. If you’re going by the first episode of Hot Stove, that appetite appears not to be a big one. I’m sure that will excite people.

They have to rebuild the bullpen so they have to add there, but be ready to run most of this back. The biggest additions may be in the pen and not the lineup.
