🚨LESSONS I WISH I LEARNED SOONER🚨
College baseball gave me some of the best moments of my life.
It also humbled me, tested me and forced me to grow up faster than I expected.
After playing at three Division I programs, transferring twice and experiencing just about every role imaginable, these are the biggest lessons it taught me.
🧵👇
I played for Coach Vrable and the entire staff for two years, and I can’t say enough good things about them. Coach Vrable was one of the best coaches I’ve ever had: kind, caring, always looking out for the best interests of the players, and never afraid to crack a joke. Through the highs and lows, Coach helped keep the clubhouse steady.
Louisville Baseball’s success comes from everyone involved in the program, and Coach Vrable is a huge part of what makes it work.
🚨 THE MOST UNDERRATED COACHES IN ALL OF COLLEGE BASEBALL: ADAM VRABLE 🚨
For more than a decade, Adam Vrable @avrabes has helped shape Louisville baseball working with the Cardinals’ hitters and outfielders while contributing to recruiting.
His impact is woven into one of college baseball’s most consistent programs.

Might be a HOT TAKE
but the Dodgers and what they’ve done over the last five years IS THE MAIN reason baseball is growing.
People want to see super teams. And when you have more of them, you get more great matchups and more underdogs with a shot to take them down.
If you think baseball needs a lockout, something’s wrong…..
Money helps, sure. But baseball is built on timing, consistency, and cohesion. You can spend all the money in the world, but you can’t buy those things outright. You still have to earn them.
There’s a reason we’re watching the Brewers and Rays in the World Series.
We need more super teams and more Dodger baseball. ⚾

To the overlooked, underrecruited kid:
Don’t let the attention you aren’t getting convince you that the work you’re doing doesn’t matter.
Whatever sport you play, this is for you. 🧵
You can be disappointed and still be determined.
You can doubt yourself and still show up.
And when it gets heavy, lean on the people who care about you.
I didn’t get through my hardest seasons alone. You don’t have to either.
