“We really need to treat data as toxic waste by default.” Data itself carries risk. By default we should collect less, store less, and expose less. Do not hand it over or keep it unless necessary. Privacy is not about hiding everything. It is about making sensitive information usable and verifiable without putting it on full display. That is the infrastructure institutions actually need.

Trees drop their leaves in November. They keep their roots. On a public chain, everything drops: balance, trades, timing. Privacy is deciding what drops and what stays.

Most privacy solutions only address part of the problem. They either hide everything or reveal everything. Neither is enough when real capital and real decisions are involved. What's missing is the ability to prove facts without exposing the underlying data, and to compute on sensitive information without decrypting it. That's the gap Primus is building to address. Not more secrecy. Not more transparency. But a way to keep sensitive data private while making it usable and verifiable. Primus is building that cure.

Trustworthy onchain decisions start with verifiable evidence. With zkTLS, Primus enables applications to verify the authenticity of offchain data while preserving user privacy. Together with @CournotProtocol, we’re bringing verifiable web evidence to prediction markets and exploring new possibilities for private credit and onchain finance. We believe this is an important step toward a more private and verifiable onchain ecosystem.

Privacy matters. And so does making onchain data useful without compromising privacy.

Transparency proves. Privacy protects. The real system does both at once. Data stays hidden by default. Only what must be known becomes visible. Proof without exposure. Control without sacrifice. Private when it matters. Verifiable when required. That is the balance.

🎤 @VitalikButerin just shared some thoughtful perspectives on the long-term security of lattices and FHE in the age of AI. It’s not a call to panic. But the security margins now need to be taken a lot more seriously. Here’s what actually matters: FHE remains one of the few ways to compute on encrypted data without ever decrypting it. That value hasn’t disappeared. The threat model has simply gotten harder. Lattice-based cryptography also offers a broader and more functional post-quantum security foundation than hash-based cryptography, especially when you need encryption, key exchange, or general computation on encrypted data. That’s why at Primus we’re not just talking about FHE. We’re building it carefully, with parameter choices that respect the new reality. On @BNBCHAIN. Backed by @YZiLabs. BNB tends to stand where the real technical frontier is, not just where the loudest narrative is. The math is hard. The implication is simple: Whoever gets practical, robust FHE right will own a very important piece of the future. We’re here for that piece.
