Will be hilarious to see the white tech bro podcasters stop talking about trans athletes and immigration and “both sides” and quietly go back to talking about venture capital and business. Already happening with Keith
Case in point, Grant Cardone:

Amazing message from the senior advisor to Ken Paxton!
We want a massive increase in immigrants, who make this country great & actually make it safer (because native-born Americans commit more crime). The 10 Commandments will be removed from public schools. We want higher taxes on the wealthy, including me.
Wow, MAGAs like Michelle really started to get it overnight

Spend extravagantly on the things you love, as long as you cut costs mercilessly on the things you don't
Last night was a beautiful demonstration of how America rejects the bigots and losers of MAGA. Now, onto business: I want every ICE officer placed in one of these “calming boxes” they used on immigrants in the torture prison in Florida
Your numbers say you’re rich. So why don’t you feel rich?
You save. You invest. You max out your 401(k). But the trip, the house, or the year off keeps getting pushed to “someday.”

My financial philosophy: I would never allow myself to have a house worth more than my investment portfolio
What about you?
Your philosophy might be different, but it's important to develop your own personal POV with your money!
There are 29 million millionaire households in America. But if you only count those who could write a check for $1M, that number drops by over 70%.
My latest on how many Americans are actually millionaires: ofdollarsanddata.com/how-man…
What percentage chance do you think this person has of mastering the skill of spending money meaningfully?
0%?
10%?
25%?
50%?
99%?
Never ask Americans their socioeconomic class. They will always say middle class — even if they earn $750,000 PER YEAR
Examples of class & status in your daily life:
xitter.gq/ramit/status/194841130…
One of the most taboo topics in America is CLASS
Yet socioeconomic class interacts with almost every part of our existence
Consider just a few examples (what did I miss?):
- Family structure: Number of kids, multi-generational living, childcare, breastfeeding, schooling
- Finances: Use of tax-advantaged accounts, ability/willingness to plan ahead, use of debit vs. credit cards, attitudes towards debt and investments
- Living: Noise in household, TV use, pets, fitness choice
- Leisure: Media consumption, travel frequency, style, and destination
- Food: Food choice, how often they eat out, amount spent on food
Do you see how money is not simply about a budget?
Why does this hotel charge for coffee?
At the Ritz in San Francisco, they have free coffee, but less than 10 feet away, they charge $18 for a pot of coffee
Why do you think this is?
Whenever I post stories about wealthy people who can't bring themselves to spend $20 on dinner, I always get the same kind of reply: "That's how they became wealthy!"
No, restricting on a few dollars here and there is not how people built an $818,000 salary or a multi-million dollar net worth in their 30s
This delusion of frugality has to stop
