Flight testing is on at @regentcraft - what an epic summer!
We’re now up to high cadence flight testing, multiple times per week, expanding the operational envelope and tuning our digital flight controls.
The Viceroy prototype is proving to be an incredible machine. I can’t wait to get onboard!
REGENT and NSI recently integrated Squire, our Seaglider drone, with NSI’s Arowana UUV during the recent Maritime Big Play Pacific demonstrations off San Clemente Island in California, sponsored by the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Research & Engineering.
Squire served as a mobile gateway, which let operators update Arowana’s tasking while it was underway as new information came in. The teams also tested tethered guidance, beyond-line-of-sight handoffs, and TAK integration across the vehicles.
Being able to pass new tasking to an undersea vehicle without recalling it is the kind of flexibility mixed fleets need, and we’re proud to be building on this with NSI.

Flight training in the Icon A5 begins!
While the control inputs of a Seaglider are more like boat controls than airplane controls, the A5 still gives us valuable experience flying over water and operating at high speeds in a relevant environment.
It also allows us to more thoroughly experience and communicate differentiation of sea state tolerance and landing ability of the Seaglider vs existing seaplanes, since landings in an A5 actually must occur over relatively calm water.
It’s also just very fun to fly…
Something’s stirring in the storm, and the mob of Squires has sensed it. 👀🔥
Happy Halloween from @regentcraft!

Thrilled to be recognized by the International Yacht Society with the 2026 Technology Award. 🏆
Superyachts anchor in some of the most beautiful, remote places on earth, and that’s exactly what makes them hard to get to and from. Guests and owners have had to choose between tenders that can be slow and rough in a seaway, and helicopters that are loud, costly, and dependent on landing permissions. Seagliders offer a new option:
⚡ Fast. Foiling and flying above the waves at up to 180 mph, they turn long tender runs into a fraction of the time.
🤫 Quiet and zero-emission. Battery-electric, with no helicopter noise or operating emissions.
🌊 Smooth. Flying above the waves means no spray and no slamming.
⚓ Convenient. They dock like a boat at marinas and swim platforms, with no helideck or airport infrastructure needed.
🛥️ Versatile. Working alongside a yacht of any size or type, they can handle guest transfers, island-hopping, crew changes, and fast delivery of provisions and parts.
With up to 12 guests and their luggage over as much as 180 miles, the Seaglider gives superyachts a fast, quiet, all-electric link to the wider world.
Thank you to the International Yacht Society for the recognition, and to the entire @regentcraft team making this real. Our full-scale Viceroy made its first crewed flight in September, and we’re just getting started.

See you there!
"They’ve figured out the secret sauce. They’re going to certify through the @USCG as a boat. They’re going to not expend all of their batteries to get to altitude. They’re going to be efficient in wing-in-ground effect.” Stan Little, the Chairman of @regentcraft U.S launch partner, The Twenty Five, discusses the Seaglider solution to profitable passenger transport.
