Chapter 3 - Relic Launches (🔜)
(1/5) Now that we’ve learned about enshrinings, mints, and pools, let’s combine that knowledge and see what it means for the upcoming Launches category on mbtc.meme 🧵
This will be the last educational chapter before launches go live.
(4/5) Once the relic mints out, an AMM pool is created for the launched relic. While the bonding curve is active, mints can be “unminted” to reclaim spent $MBTC, depending on the curve’s progress.
⛓️ Chapter 2, Part 2: Relic Mints
(1/7) After covering liquidity pools, let’s examine how mints work in detail and how relic mints can save gas compared to some other meta-protocols.
(6/7) Last but not least, if a relic is enshrined with boost terms, some mints may yield more tokens than expected 😏
We’re teaming up with @runepacks_rip! 💀
Runepacks is bringing Bitcoin memecoins on bonding curves to @base - and they’re big fans of Relics’ liquid Bitcoin Mainnet pools. To celebrate, they’ve sponsored exclusive alpha codes for the $MBTC community 🎁

🧵 Chapter 2: Mints & Pools
(1/5) Before we jump into bonding curves and see how Relics Protocol brings a pump experience to the mempool, let’s move on to the next chapter:
Mints & Pools. Today, we’ll keep it simple and start with pools:
(4/5) How much of the minted relic is added to the pool?
This is configured by the creator and is called the seed.
Example: $RELIC was enshrined as a free mint. The enshrining included a subsidy of 21k $MBTC and a seed of 10.5m $RELIC. That means the initial pool contained 21k $MBTC and 10.5m $RELIC.
(5/5) Don’t worry - we’ll make this much simpler with one default config when simplified launches on mbtc.meme go live.
(8/9) Price options:
- 0 → free mint
- Fixed (e.g., 1 $MBTC per mint)
- Formula-based (bonding curve)
