It’s kinda funny. The leftists already have well understood track record witt to h begging on the wrong religious horse.
Yet, here we are again. And again.

This is likely profound to no one other than myself, but short form content (ticktok, reels etc etc) are like these weird little pocket universes in which the shorter the piece, often the larger the amount of BS that can be packed into them.
I'm honestly not sure what to do on that front. I still try to spin up a long-form piece here and there, but it is NOT what gets the most attention and the ROI vs just watching the grass grow IRL is not compelling.

Permanent standard time keeps clocks on the winter setting year-round: earlier sunrises/sunsets, more morning light. Permanent DST keeps the summer setting: later sunrises/sunsets, more evening light. Neither adds daylight—just shifts it.
Sleep and medical groups like the American Academy of Sleep Medicine favor permanent standard time. It better matches human circadian biology and morning light needs, supporting healthier sleep, alertness, and safety (fewer dark winter school/work commutes). Permanent DST risks more misalignment and dark mornings.

it's worse than that, DR.
they come from cultures where the purpose of government is to determine which tribes are allowed to rape and plunder the others.
every time you give them something, they see it as weakness, as capitulation, as an admission that they have the power and you do not.
why else would you give them things?
they see it as a sign that you are weak and they are strong and that you fear them.
of course they demand more. why wouldn't they?
the failure of the west to understand that this is the standard view of most of the world and that the west is a tiny bubble of high-trust exceptionalism is what feeds this.
"if we're just nice to them, they'll learn to be like us!"
no. they think we are stupid and soft. they have zero interest in being like us. they just want to take what we have.

In a very real sense, it's impossible to produce satire of dystopian fiction, because reality simply outpaces anything we can imagine.

🚨BREAKING: The historic Limoges town hall has just completely collapsed after far-left rioters set it on fire
It was built in 1876. It survived World Wars. It did not survive modern France.

Maybe we can have both.
I'm watching Clarkson's Farm, and he went to the Netherlands, the most productive agricultural nation on Earth.
It's all high-tech.
A dairy farm in the middle of a city, floating on a barge. The cows milk themselves.
Measuring soil to target fertilizer and seeds. Insane yields.
It's amazing.
I don't want flying cars.
I want rivers and ocean I can swim in with friends.
I want food that isn't full of toxic chemicals and clean soil to grow it in.
I want raw nature and wilderness and places on the earth I can get lost without seeing another human.
I want air that isn't "geoengineered" and polluted.
Science is cool. Technological advancement is cool, but I don't think this makes us happier as humans.
Real human connection and clean, natural food lead to happiness. This I know. Flying cars? I'm not sure.
Maybe I am a troglodyte...

I guess I can't say this is a *new* low, but it is a low. Thank you @SenTomCotton for your perseverance and common sense on this issue. It makes zero sense to sacrifice Americans' health and safety for the sake of the golf lobby. We should "lock the clock" on permanent standard after we fall back next month. #DitchDST
This is so damn frustrating. Yes, technically allulose is chemically defined as a “sugar.” But it has zero impact on blood sugar, insulin etc. this is the classic bottom feeding lawyers providing nothing valuable to the world.
