Heres a great one for the youth players getting warmed up to throw.
This is little snippet of what’s to come soon.. 🚀
What Baseball Taught Me About Life 🧵
My father passed away when I was 9.
I was raised by a strong-willed woman. My mom worked THREE jobs just to make sure I had a new glove and a good pair of cleats each baseball season.
That’s where my competitiveness came from.
There's a sign I remember from the University of Texas:
"The world treats winners a lot differently than it treats losers."
And in baseball, winning isn't just about the individual.
When you walk through those clubhouse doors, your teammates become your family.
Your job is to help that family win.
Here's what baseball taught me:
Work ethic comes from sacrifice.
Success comes from preparation.
Great coaches teach lessons that last a lifetime.
And talent means nothing if you can't execute when it matters.
You don't have to be the most gifted player in the room.
You have to be willing to outwork your circumstances.
Tough all day 🚀
