The 2021 attack on Gaza was shorter than other major attacks. Several of us worked Congress to try to stop it and I believe it worked that time bc Sanders and AOC acted, see timeline.

We need to super fund the corporate crime police.
Corporate crime does far more damage to society than street crime.
We’re talking war crimes, fraud, abuse. Fostering addictions. Products that kill. Agencies are underfunded.
“Defund is a dumb word,” Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed told Breaking Points as Saagar Enjeti challenged him over his 2020 position.
Public safety can't be addressed "in a three-word sentence," El-Sayed added, referring to “defund the police.” He called for investment in police recruitment, retention and retirement alongside behavioral health response and community violence intervention.
Asked whether his Medicare for All plan would cover puberty blockers for minors, he said such decisions belong to "you, your doctor, and if you're under 18, your parent” and that the debate should be about getting everyone healthcare first, not about who's excluded.
