Not very good at the whole self-promotion thing but in a crowded market I’m proud of what @BenColeyGolf and I have created with @slicedpod. Have often felt like the DPWT doesn’t get as much attention as it deserves and that was a big part of the aim. I don’t have many strengths…
Unless I’ve missed it previously, I believe Rory’s broken some news here. Namely what access DPWT players will have to the Championship/Challenger Series in 2028. Purely Championship Series is a big carrot. The remaining question is how many players we’re talking about.
Rory McIlroy says there is “no way” LIV 2.0 was ever going to work – but now he’s looking ahead to a positive future...

One day, we’ll look back and marvel at the fact one of the most decorated golfers of this generation played for a team represented by this logo.
This is a great shame. With Waialae gone and now Colonial on its way out, that’s two of the few courses on tour that really reward strategy and shot-making. 😕

Lucky to have had several great guests on Sliced, but this one might just be my favourite yet. Have been trying to get Eddie on pretty much since we started the pod, and an hour will never feel like enough.
If you’ve not listened before, this one is worth your time, I promise.
🚨 Another bonus episode!
🎙️ We're thrilled to be joined by fellow podcaster @PepperellEddie to discuss life on tour, LIV Golf, DP World Tour finances and decision-making, how he keeps himself interested, and more

Mentioned on @slicedpod today about Yannik Paul being one of the big names to come up shy at 2nd stage DPWT Q-School. Well, he had a playoff this morning for 9th alternate spot, which he won, and he just heard from the tour that he’s into final stage. Huge opportunity.
DP World Tour Q-School Final field just out. Thomas Pieters among the notable entrants, as is the man, the myth, the legend @ByeongHunAn. europeantour.com/dpworld-tou…
What an awesome moment. To hole a putt like this to reclaim your DPWT card after three years away has got to be an incredible feeling. Great stuff @MarcWarrenGolf 👏
A missed cut for Tony Finau this week brings into focus just how far he’s fallen. Beat Jon Rahm to win this very event 3.5 years ago and rose to 11th in the world. Now 174th & one top-10 finish in the last 18th months. Hope he can find his way back, will always have time for him.
