If you do not learn from history, Zlatan Ibrahimovic will force you to repeat it: How Milan and their ageless talisman became unlikely title contenders

Milan + Ibra's incredible run has shook me out of a three year football writing hiatus. Check it out.

Troy, I've been a Bears fan 47 years. Neither am I.
The Kaka moment was beautiful. I wonder though, who’s the next one? What current or recent player do we idolise? Tonali, Donnarumma should’ve been figures of the same idolatry as Ricky, Paolo etc but we operate in different times. Reminds me how far this great club has fallen.
Bears have:
Top 5 offensive mind in the sport
A franchise QB - a real one
A top 5 OL
Two good RBs, two good WRs and an elite TE
A well coached D getting back two of its best players and maybe its best FA acquisition by Xmas
It’s time to go all in before you have to pay Caleb
Bears get back Sweat this week and can still send a 5th for Mack. This could be a very different front in a week.
Glen Johnson on Henderson and Welbeck ‘you just can’t buy that kind of experience overnight’ well, Glen, that’s actually exactly what happened
Bears, Ben Johnson and the entire fan base probably deserved this. Beating the jets and the soon to be tanking Eagles led to a sort media bias and arrogance that today felt like the organisation leant into. Bottom line, you went to Lambeau with a back up and got your ass kicked
Forgetting that to get the information out first you need, well, the information
Breaking: the Arizona Cardinals are finalizing a deal to trade WR Marvin Harrison, sources tell me and @RapSheet.
The team informed Harrison this morning that he will be inactive for Sunday’s game vs Detroit as details of the trade are finalized.
Man, man, man. Chicago loses a hero. Ditka was the voice and face of the greatest single season NFL team ever, his influence is still felt around Soldier Field 40 years later. He’d have loved this Bears team, too.
Bears-Packers is going to be a truly memorable affair on Sunday.

Looks like #Bears LB T.J. Edwards listened in as Jalen Hurts gave the play call in the huddle — and then intercepted Hurts on that very play.
Caleb Williams is the best thing to happen to me as a sports fan since Ricardo Kaka arrived at Milanello
Oh my god lmao
BREAKING: The NBA has ruled on the Los Angeles Clippers in for salary cap circumvention investigations on Kawhi Leonard after yearlong probe -- stripping the franchise of 5 first-round picks, issuing a $30 million fine to owner Steve Ballmer and suspensions for Ballmer, Lawrence Frank and Gillian Zucker, sources tell ESPN.
Kawhi Leonard will have to pay $700,000 in restitution for improper benefits by the Clippers for his uncle and former business rep, Dennis Robertson. No contract void or suspension for Leonard. And Robertson -- who was fired by Leonard in June -- is being banned by the NBA from all business dealings.
I’m just going to say this now:
Trusting this coach to get rid of this player and replace, develop and succeed without him will not go well.
Everyone will get sacked and Milan will
Miss the CL. Again.
Next summer everyone will be talking themselves into someone like Pirlo.
🚨 Amorim wants Leao to leave Milan. Henrik Almstadt had contact with Leao’s entourage to reiterate to them the necessity to find a solution for the player.
Milan have lowered their demands to sell Leao from €50-60M to €40-45M
