"Luke Branch's solo material feels anything but a one-man operation. Packed with huge, layered arrangements, psychedelic textures and punk rock urgency, his songs burst with creativity and ambition. Away from the band, Luke's freedom, ambition and imagination run wilds!"

"Frieda Star deliver fuzzy, distortion-soaked indie rock with one foot firmly planted in working-class Britain. Drawing comparisons to The Strokes and the garage rock revival that followed, their sound combines swaggering riffs, relentless energy and infectious hooks."
