This week A delegation from St. Josephβs Catholic School & Sixth Form Centre in Port Talbot, Wales, recently visited several high schools within the Archdiocese of New York to explore Catholic education in the United States.
A great opportunity thanks to @TaithWales and @WG_Education to visit New York this month. Students and staff had the chance to see how education works in @ArchNY_Schools and experience a different culture and place. It was fantastic to speak to schools in NYC about life there!

We were so grateful for the welcome we received from the staff and students of @StepinacHS this week. It was great to hear from senior leaders about leadership within the US education system and the students about their experiences, ambitions and plans for the future. Thank you!
Stepinac is thrilled to welcome two teachers from Cardiff, Wales!
They joined us for breakfast this morning after touring our school as part of their week-long visit to New York, where they're exploring best practices and innovative approaches to Catholic education.
Great conversations and even greater connections!

PC Kent said that "it was a worthwhile opportunity to engage with 16-18 year olds who represent an important demographic within the community."
Today Year 12 and 13 students had the chance to speak to our School Engagement Officer PC Kent from @swpolice as part of a drop-in session. Students spoke about their concerns within their local area along with the chance to ask about the different job roles within the Police.
It was great to visit some of our partner primary schools prior to the Open Evening last week with our 6th Formers to run music and art workshops. It was lovely to spend time with these pupils and their teachers and were so impressed with their attitude and contributions!
