1. speedup until quantum computers rip curves.
2. quantum computers mainly fck with beautiful structures like curves (ECDSA). for ugly stuff like hashes (eg. STARKS) there is no benefit with quantum computers.
Today Physical Superintelligence PBC is announcing a proof of the Aaronson-Ambainis conjecture, one of the central open problems in quantum complexity, with major implications for quantum computing speedup.

One of the biggest barriers to @Starknet adoption was the difficulty of Cairo.
The latest models like Opus 5.5 entirely crush it.
And for those that don’t know, Cairo is an absolute monster for the most complex of smart contracts.

Starknet can seamlessly upgrade its cryptography to become fully post-quantum secure. We’re not there yet, but we’re aiming to complete the transition by 2027.
