One year from now, what strides will your company have taken towards the future of #probono?
Thursday at the IGNITE: Corporate Action Forum, corporate #socialimpact and L&D leaders imagined that future, then planned their first moves.

Peers pressure-tested every plan. Every leader left with ideas to bring back to their own company. To close, Cat Ward asked participants to share one word to describe their mood after a day of building together at #IGNITE2026. “Energized.” “Refocused.” “Intentional.” “Hopeful.”
“We’re not asking you to do more. We’re asking you to do different.”
Taproot CEO Cat Ward opened day two of #IGNITE2026 with that challenge to corporate #socialimpact and learning leaders.

And across all of this work, we need the data to show what changes. What did employees learn? What can a nonprofit do now that it couldn’t before? Measuring those outcomes and telling the story behind the data helps companies make the case for continued investment.
"Today was about dreaming big, and I think our table accomplished that.”
That’s how one participant described the work that closed day one of #IGNITE2026 yesterday.

💡 Create communities of service. Bring local government, businesses, nonprofits and schools into lasting partnerships that build an “ethos of service” within the community.
Participants then named their own commitments, from making bolder partnership asks to testing new approaches and advocating for pro bono in their companies.
Today, corporate #socialimpact and learning leaders take the work further.
