Elon Musk just responded to a thread of the second most powerful man in Russia, a notorious war criminal, “predicting” the collapse of the West and civil war in the US with: “epic thread.”
It’s a real mystery why advertisers are fleeing Twitter and Tesla stocks are sinking
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Though Elon Musk did say “epic thread”, he also said “Those are definitely the most absurd predictions I’ve ever heard, while also showing astonishing lack of awareness of the progress of artificial intelligence and sustainable energy.”

Absolutely brilliant work of @alexander_betts. The refugee talent pool is often being disregarded, seen as a burden, though given right tools refugees can power economies of hosting states. We need sustainable refugee policies, not humanitarian saviorism.
My new book: 'The Wealth of #Refugees: How Displaced People Can Build Economies' will be published by @OUPPolitics on 22 April. bit.ly/3sauFf8
