What a great group of young players in Atlanta!! They were beyond gracious and I have to say, bughouse was the highlight for me!! The squash players will regroup and hit the books hard before the rematch….
In the first collaboration between US Chess and the National Squash League @nslsport23 , a number of Georgia's top chess players came to the Atlanta Tornados' home match against the Carolina Pirates for blitz, bughouse, and more.
Below, Georgia's state chess champion Ethan Sheehan plays blitz against Carolina's @timmybrownell. Sheehan only was allowed one minute for the game!
On the further board, Alexander Joseph — Georgia’s top-ranked 10-year-old — plays Carolina's Finnlay Withington.
