Haven Demo: The Road to Haven-1

Last week, Lead Astronaut @astro_feustel and Vast Japan General Manager @astro_naoko spoke on several panels at @IAC2026Antalya, discussing the evolution of human spaceflight over the last few decades and their personal experiences of living and working in orbit.
Thank you to @SenatorFischer and @DesJarlaisTN04 for visiting Vast HQ in Long Beach, CA. The Senate and House Armed Services Strategic Forces leaders saw first-hand how we're building next-generation space infrastructure with dual-use national security applications.
We welcomed Program Manager Carlos García-Galán and Chief Architect Nujoud Merancy of the @NASAMoonBase program to our Long Beach HQ. We showcased capabilities we intend to leverage to support a permanent crewed presence on the lunar surface.
The Vast-PAM-1 crew @thom_astro, @astro_ales, and @astro_adrianos visited Vast HQ to kickoff their orientation, headed to @SpaceX for suit fittings, sampled crew food options at Vast and @NASA, and met some of the teams behind the mission.
