Just a heads up. Today's update to VirtualHostX is likely the last one to provide support for macOS Mojave and earlier. Once Big Sur is released, it or Catalina will be required.

Is it possible to overstate just how over the moon we are to announce that VirtualHostX is now included in @Setapp? I (@tylerhall) have been a paid Setapp subscriber for over a year and find it to be an incredible value. And now I get to use my own app! Wait..what? 🤔 #inception
Everybody welcome VirtualHostX Pro on Setapp - Hooray 🥳 VirtualHostX is an easy-to-install local server environment for macOS. You can build and test web apps like WordPress or even host a production web server on your Mac. stpp.co/virtualhostxpro #SetappArrivals #newapp

Today I added a long-overdue FAQ explaining the difference between the app's "Local Path" and "Web Root" settings. clickontyler.com/support/a/9… Also released a small update (version 2020.05) which fixes the top three crashes from the last 30 days.
Yeah, I'm extremely sorry about that. If your copy of VHX is saying "Expired", please download the fixed version from here: clickontyler.com/virtualhost…
In my support ticketing system, I tag all customer interactions to help me keep track of them and as a reference for my future self. Today I’ve tagged eleven (so far) with “MyFuckup” 😢

Feels so great to receive emails like this from folks using the new version. If you haven't given our new Backups feature a try, you definitely should. You can now back and restore your websites AND databases across iCloud, Dropbox, Drive, etc.
Also, version 2019.06 was released yesterday. It includes *many* fixes for the new Browser Picker feature. clickontyler.com/virtualhost…

Sorry for the shitty, shitty spam in our RSS feed yesterday. It looks like @feedpress, who our RSS feed is hosted through, got hacked. No response from them yet, so I’ve routed the feed back to our own server. Things should be back to normal soon I hope.
If you’re a student or teacher, you won’t want to miss the giant Back to School sale going on over at studentappcentre.com All of our apps are 50% off this week! @StuAppCentre

VirtualHostX 8.7.12 was released the other day. Includes a fix for the recent problems folks were having generating a Public URL to share their websites. Plus, updates to WordPress, Vagrant, and VirtualBox.
Small update this morning with version 8.7.11. No new features or bug fixes. But it’s very important you update because this renews the app’s SSL certificate so your websites can remain secure. – at Franklin, TN
