Today has been difficult for many reasons. The most challenging emotion that is happening to me today is that I am grieving. In 2008. This is the day that my dad joined the Church Triumphant. My dad shared his values from growing up on a farm, to serving in the US Army and finally an elder in the church as a champion of reconciliation. I am not grieving as those with no hope but as a grateful son who really misses conversations and spending time with him
