As an artist… sometimes it gives me anxiety to create… and I have had to sit in that and know it is okay/those feelings are valid … 🧘🏾♀️🎨
🗣️•• OCT 9th •• I am thrilled to announce that my artwork will be making its museum debut at Newark Museum of Art during the 2024 Newark Arts Festival “Radical ReImaging Exhibition”! This is a monumental moment for me, & I cannot wait to share it with yall on opening night!
Upside to my art submission pivot… I get to finally release my painting I did months ago that I’ve been sitting on 😌🎨 upward and onward to new art developments
Friends sending my art residency and other art opportunities to apply for really is top tier “i’m rooting for you always” mindset for me… I may not fit them all but the lookout/speaking me name in space is always appreciated 🥰
Anyone have advice on how to take great quality photos of mix media artwork on canvas?? Struggling to capture both the detail in the painting along with the added 3d items…
Waking up to an email that I got into 2 international shows in London and Athens that will run for 2 weeks has been my highlight for the week thus far! 🙌🏾🥹👩🏾🎨 Every step in the right direction is a personal promise turned reality to my bigger purpose as an artist!
It’s me still up having a whole photo shoot content moment(s) with my artwork for later portfolio posting at 6am (started at 2am…) the artist life that brings me joy and very little sleep 😅🎨👩🏾🎨
It’s officially been a month as of today since my solo show and still ring me the biggest smile when I reflect on the night and how everything seamlessly came together 🥰🎨👩🏾🎨 my video recap 🤌🏾✨
